The Philadelphia Police Department is now sharing video of a car involved in a hit-and-run accident that killed a local teenager. Police say the car that fatally struck 17-year-old Markalyah Jackson can be seen in the video, traveling north on Roosevelt Boulevard, just before the accident took place. Authorities are looking for a silver, early 2000s model Chevy Venture minivan. The high school senior was struck late Monday night. She was crossing at Adams Avenue in Lawncrest. Police have no description of the driver.

Dozens of somber family members, friends and classmates gathered for a vigil Wednesday night at West Catholic High School in Philadelphia in memory of 18-year-old Akyra Murray, a standout student and basketball star, who was killed during the mass shooting at a gay nightclub in Orlando, Florida. The private service was held in the school’s auditorium. The school’s vice president, Paul Colistra, said even though school is out for the summer, their doors are open for students to come in and mourn, reflect and seek counseling.

According to the Twitter account of Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz, he spent part of his Wednesday night locked in a bathroom at a gas station. The top pick was in New Jersey when he decided to visit a gas station restroom and when he went to leave, the door was locked. It appears that luck was on Wentz side and he made it out to tweet the tale. He thanked God for the gas station attendants who came wielding garden shears and the mystery man known as “the other guy,” who came in with a leg kick.
