A poetic docudrama about Trayvon Martin began Thursday night at The Freedom Theatre in Philadelphia. The Ballad of Trayvon Martin is based on the teenager who was shot and killed by George Zimmerman in Florida. The play hope to helps shed light on the struggle for racial equality in America. The play runs until May 22nd.

The Caln Township Police Department says that on Wednesday afternoon, a man attempted to lure a 16-year-old child into his van. Police describe the man as a heavy set, black male in his late 20’s with medium length dreadlocks. The man was driving a Dodge Ram cargo van with a company logo on it and was believed to be a traveling salesman. Officials say the man was wearing a royal blue shirt, also believed to have the company logo on it.
