Police are investigating a stabbing right outside the Pennsylvania Convention Center around 10:30 Thursday night. When police arrived on the scene, they found a man on the ground struggling with two suspects. The 44-year-old victim was stabbed at least two times in his head and upper body and is in critical condition at Hahnemann Hospital. Police say they have two suspects in custody and are looking at nearby surveillance cameras for help in their investigation.

A student from Ursinus College has been killed after she was struck by a vehicle near the school’s Collegeville campus Thursday evening. Officials say they responded to Main Street between 5th and 6th Streets at around 6:30 p.m. Medics pronounced the victim dead at the scene a short time later. The driver of the vehicle and witnesses remained on scene and were cooperating with police.

Neighbors of the Harrisburg teenager who has been charged with providing material support to ISIS say they’re shocked something like this could happen so close to home. The Department Of Justice (DOJ) announced that Harrisburg teenager, Jalil Ibn Ameer Aziz, 19, a U.S. citizen, is charged in a criminal complaint unsealed today in U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania. According to the complaint, Aziz has used at least 57 different Twitter accounts to advocate violence against the U.S. and U.S. citizens. Aziz is alleged to have posted a hyperlink containing the names, addresses and other personal information of 100 reported U.S. military members and calls for violence against them. According to the DOJ, in at least three occasions, Aziz also allegedly used his Twitter accounts and other means of electronic communication to help individuals travel to and fight for the terror group. If convicted, Aziz’s sentence will be determined by the court after reviewing factors such as any prior criminal record. The case is being investigated by the FBI’s Philadelphia Joint Terrorism Task Forces.
