Police are investigating a stabbing overnight at an apartment complex in Upper Darby, Delaware County. It happened around 1:30 a.m. Monday at the Providence Manor Apartments along the 800 block of Providence Road. Police say one person was stabbed and taken to the hospital in unknown condition. There was no immediate word on a suspect or an arrest.

A local organist will have a front row seat, by performing during the big outdoor Papal Mass on Sunday, as well as with Andrea Bocelli and the Philadelphia Orchestra for Saturday’s Festival of Families on the Ben Franklin Parkway. And a local company’s organ will make sure the outdoor events will sound like one inside a big cathedral. The digital instrument, a Rodgers Infinity Model 361 is on loan from Cunningham Piano Company in Germantown. Cunningham co-owner Rich Galassini says the 1,200 pound organ samples authentic pipe organ sounds, and will emulate them at the outdoor events. Sandor Kadar, who serves as principal organist at St. Andrew Church in Newtown, Bucks County, plays during weekend masses at the largest parish in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, and accompanies several choirs. He’ll perform at two Papal masses, and six more masses during the week of the World Meeting of Families.

A traveling exhibit opened Monday at the Pennsylvania Convention Center as part of the World Meeting of Families Conference and Papal visit. It’s free and open to the public. The exhibit is called Verbum Domini II: God’s Word Goes Out to the Nations. It features 80 rare biblical texts and artifacts from the Museum of the Bible’s Green Collection. The temporary exhibit is opened 9am to 7pm all this week except Saturday the public is invited to visit then 9am to 5pm. To enter use the Race Street side entrance of the convention center near Broad Street.

iRadioPhilly will carry LIVE BROADCASTS from the World Meeting of Families Events, Festival and the Papal Visit. For more information, go to Papal Visit Broadcast
