Police arrested a suspect dubbed the "Swiss Cheese Pervert" this morning for his alleged indecent behavior that involved dairy products. Officers from the Philadelphia Special Victims Unit took Christopher Pagano, 41, into custody at his Norristown, PA home. He is accused of offering to pay women to put slices of Swiss cheese on his penis and perform sex acts. He approached several women on the street in the Mayfair section of Northeast Philadelphia, pulling up to them in his automobile with his genitals exposed and holding the cheese. The Mayfair Town Watch Facebook page initially reported these incidents. He is is being charged with indecent exposure, stalking and harassment.

UPDATE 1/21 2:05 AM: Chris Pagano, the alleged "Swiss Cheese Pervert," has posted bail. He was being held at Curran-Fromhold Correctional Faciltiy in Holmesburg over the weekend, with his bail set at $30,000. He posted 10 percent of that amount Sunday and released. Pagano is due back in court Feb. 18 for a preliminary hearing.

Comcast announced yesterday that it will be building the largest building in the city at 18th and Arch, eclipsing it's current tower by over 150 ft. The “Comcast Innovation and Technology Center” will also be the largest building in the US outside of New York and Chicago. The City of Philadelphia held it's vertical ambitions back for most of the 20th century as no building could be taller than William Penn's statue on City Hall up until the mid-80's. Many say our sports teams were cursed once Billy became overshadowed and a 25 year title drought began. It wasn't until a miniature William figurine was fixed upon the top of the new Comcast Tower in 2007 that the Phillies then won the 2008 World Series. Lay all superstition to rest, a Comcast spokesperson says that statue will move up to the top of the new 59 story building when it opens in 2017.

Philadelphia Police say the man who threw hot coffee at a Dunkin Donuts clerk is now in custody. 36-year-old William Houser surrendered this morning to face aggravated assault charges. The incident happened on Wednesday, January 8th at the DD on 4700 block of North Broad Street. Houser had tried to use a coupon on his iPhone when paying for his coffee. The employee could not accept the coupon because it had expired, which angered Houser. He purchased it anyway but continued to argue, becoming enraged to the point he threw the contents on the clerk. The entire incident was caught on video.
