Police are investigating a shooting that took place Sunday night in the Hunting Park section of the city on the 500 block of Rising Sun Avenue. One man was shot in the chest. A second man suffered a graze wound and is listed in stable condition. Both victims were taken to Temple Hospital.

Crowds gathered on Benjamin Franklin Parkway Sunday for the 51st Annual Puerto Rican Day Parade. A few thousand people crowded the sidewalks between 18th and the Parkway and Eakins Oval for the parade. The Parkway was filled with floats, dancing groups and, Latino music.

Authorities say four people were injured Sunday when a car ran into a building in North Philadelphia, causing it to partially collapse. A 19-year-old woman was reportedly trapped after the front of the two-story garage collapsed on the 1100 block of Silver Street. The driver of the vehicle, which had a total of three people inside at the time of the accident, were all taken to Temple Hospital, along with the victim who was trapped. All four were said to be in stable condition. The building was unoccupied at the time of the incident.
