One person was hospitalized after a stabbing in Gloucester County Monday night. The incident happened along the 400 block of N. Main Street in Williamstown. One person was taken to Kennedy Memorial Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

William Scranton, the Pennsylvania governor from 1963 to 1967, has died at a retirement home in Montecito, California. A family spokesman says Governor Scranton died of a brain hemorrhage at the age of 96. Scranton signed into law changes to the state’s education system, created the state community college system, and the State Higher Education Assistance Agency.

Eight people, including three children, were injured following the row home explosion and collapse in South Philly Monday morning in the 400 block of Daly Street. The explosion occurred due to natural gas. A worker who was burned in the basement of 428 Daly Street was having issues with a water heater as he renovated the unoccupied rowhome. Suddenly, an explosion. The contractor is in critical condition with burns, and is in the burn unit of Temple Hospital.
