Roosevelt Boulevard Accident Charges, NJ Code Orange, Atlantic City Expressway Accident

The two drivers involved in Tuesday night's deadly accident on Roosevelt Boulevard will face serious charges. A mother and her three young sons were stuck and killed on the Roosevelt Boulevard Tuesday night. The woman's fourth son was injured and is in stable condition with bumps and bruises. 23-year-old Khusen Akhmedov of Lancaster City, Pa. and 30-year-old Ahmen Holloman of Philadelphia have been charged with with four counts of the following: Homicide by Vehicle, Third Degree Murder, and Involuntary Manslaughter. They are also charged with five counts of Recklessly Endangering Another Person, one count of Aggravated Assault, Simple Assault, and Aggravated Assault by Vehicle.

The National Weather Service says the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection has issued a Code Orange Air Quality Alert for multiple locations on Thursday. A Code Orange Air Quality Alert means the air pollution concentrations may become unhealthy for certain people including children, those with asthma, heart disease or lung disease and the elderly. Officials say the effects of air pollution can be lessened by avoiding outdoor exercising and strenuous activities.

Authorities say several people were injured in an accident on the Atlantic City Expressway in Camden County Wednesday night. The one-vehicle crash happened on the Atlantic City Expressway in the westbound lane near mile marker 39 in Winslow Township. Reports say a white Pontiac minivan rolled over. Police say seven people were ejected, mostly children.
