A fire in North Philadelphia on Tuesday night left two people injured inside a home at 3400 N 11th Street around 9:20 p.m. One victim, a 32-year-old male, was transported to Temple University Hospital in critical condition. The second victim was still being worked on at the scene. The fire was placed under control around 9:50 p.m.

Police in Camden County are investigating an attempted luring that allegedly happened in Pine Hill on Tuesday. Police responded to West Branch Avenue for a report of a white van following a female. The 13-year-old female reported the van pulled up next to her and the male driver told her to get int. She said the man was of Middle Eastern descent and was approximately 40 years old.

Baltimore Raven, and former Temple University All-American running back Bernard Pierce was robbed at gunpoint Sunday evening along the 7500 block of Haverford Avenue. His BMW was also stolen. The car was later recovered and processed at the police garage for possible clues. Pierce, who is from Ardmore, was visiting his family.

Weather, June 26

Partly Cloudy. Afternoon isolated thunderstorm possible. High 91 in Center City.
