Four people were shot in Southwest Philadelphia Wednesday night. The incident happened on the 2600 block of South Daggett Street in the Elmwood section. An innocent person was hit by a stray bullet that went inside a home. Three others were also shot. Philadelphia Police rushed all four victims to the hospital.

A mother jumped down to rescue her baby after the child’s stroller fell onto SEPTA train tracks Wednesday afternoon. The incident happened at the 56th Street stop along the Market-Frankford Line. In the surveillance video, the 28-year-old mother became distracted and the stroller with her 14-month-old child inside it started rolling and dropped about four feet down on to the track. The mother is seen immediately hopping down, grabbing her child, and handing the child off to another customer on the platform.

A 21-year-old woman suffered arm and leg lacerations after she was attacked by her pit bull in Belmont Wednesday night. The incident happened on the 4200 block of Ogden Street. Philadelphia Police say the woman went to let her pit bull out into the backyard when the dog started attacking her. Police responded and fired 11 shots at the pit bull, killing the dog.
