Mantua Creek Rescue, Poison Ivy Convention, Philadelphia Alley Lighting

Police in Gloucester County, New Jersey have the life of a nine-year-old autistic child they saved. Officers found the boy Saturday afternoon stuck in mud and water in the Mantua Creek..
Police say the boy was 200 yards from shore in the middle of the creek and up to his neck in mud.
A total of six officers got him to shore.

People from all over the country are in Philadelphia this week to learn all they can about poison ivy.
The 4-day conference at the Horticulture Center in West Fairmount Park will explain the new rule of thumb for spotting the annoying plant.
Participants will find out the best way to remove the plant and its roots, keep protected from the rash and find out poison ivy can live up to 30-years, and can grow to more than 3-hundred pounds.

The Philadelphia Streets Department is trying to light up some dark, dangerous alleys throughout the city.
Members of a two-month old jobtraining program for at-risk youth are playing a big role.
There are about 150 young people who are part of the Philly Future Track Program.
Trash piling up created an obstacle for electricians until the Philly Future Trackers started to move.
