Mayor Nutter admits there's a lot of confusion over the new property assessments. His aides are launching a series of meetings throughout the month — including two tonight — to answer residents' questions. Nutter says the meetings will be held in all neighborhoods at times convenient for all. Thursday night’s meetings are at the American Heritage Federal Credit Union, 2060 Red Lion Road, and at the Joseph Coleman Library, 68 West Chelten Avenue. Both sessions run from 6-9pm.

A New Jersey brewery has raised $45,000 for various charities helping to rebuild after Sandy – all from a single beer with a very interesting name. Sales of Flying Fish’s limited edition special brew, Forever Unloved (F.U.) Sandy, which debuted in area bars in February generated proceeds of $45,000 – with 100% of the proceeds going towards Habitat for Humanity and three shore-area chapters which is helping to rebuild shore-area habitat destroyed by the storm. Eighty-six kegs of F.U. Sandy were brewed, and Flying Fish says the beer is still available to the public.

No photos on United Airlines. Philadelphia student, Travel writer, and avid United flyer Matthew Klint found this out as he settled into a business class seat on a United flight from Newark to Istanbul last month, pulled out his iPhone and took a picture of the empty seat in front of him. He was told by the flight attendant that photo-taking violating United’s policy. It’s a policy that appears in small print in the airline’s in-flight magazine. He says he immediately put away his iPhone and tried to explain what he was doing to the flight attendant, but was then told he would have to leave the plane and rebook his flight. Read his blog of the incident including the offending picture here: http://upgrd.com/matthew/thrown-off-a-united-airlines-flight-for-taking-pictures.html
