Ex Holy Family Basketball Player Arrested at Phillies Game

Remember the Holy Family college basketball player who made headlines because his coach knocked him over during a practice drill? Well Matthew Kravchuck was arrested at a Phillies game for stealing two beers from a concession stand and now faces felony charges because of his prior offenses. After the basketball incident, Kravchuk played victim. And his refusal to accept the coach's apology on national TV led to his resignation. Is Kravchuk a victim again? Or is karma just giving him his due?

Coach John O'Connor is the only victim in this whole case and hopefully will be given the opportunity to return to coaching next season somewhere. Kravchuck is a punk and a wuss, and is only proving that more with these recent actions.

Did anyone see the national coverage of VCU's "Ironman Drill" before last weekend's Final Four game against Butler. Coach Shaka Smart participated in the physical drill, taking a charge, hitting the hardwood floor, and hustling to save the ball. He was cheering by his team. He was also praised by the commentators as a good leader and promoting good chemistry. Basketball can be a tough physical game and you need to prepare for that. That was the purpose of the Holy Family practice that sparked O'Connor's resignation. Instead of praise on national TV, he was lambasted and sent out the door packing, because this kid cryed.
