Temple Students Bound and Robbed, Royersford Jogger Killed, Wilmington Heroin Bust

Police are searching for three men they say tied up and robbed four Temple University students at an off campus apartment in North Philadelphia. The incident happened around 7:30 p.m. Monday along the block of North 18th Street. Authorities say the suspects stole computer equipment, cell phones, credit cards and an undisclosed amount of cash, and then fled the scene. None of the victims were injured.

A jogger has been killed following a serious crash in Royersford, Montgomery County. Authorities say a 39-year-old woman was jogging yesterday afternoon on the side of N. Lewis Rpad when she was struck by a vehicle driven by an 18-year-old male. Witnesses say the driver lost control of the vehicle, crossed the double yellow lines, struck the jogger and then crashed into a utility pole. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police in Wilmington have arrested a woman after they say they found more than 2,000 bags of heroin during a traffic stop Friday along the 2400 block of North West Street. Shawnette Valentine was removed from the vehicle and taken into custody without incident. She was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and numerous motor vehicle offenses.
