PPA Net Revenue Decrease, Delco Hit And Run Arrest, Logan Home Invasion Search

The budget for the coming year - adopted Monday by the Philadelphia Parking Authority's board — predicts that the on-street division will see a $4 million decline in net revenue - essentially profit that is forwarded to the city and school district. Fewer drivers are breaking the parking rules, resulting in fewer tickets. The new parking kiosks in Center City and University City, and the new late payment window have made it easier to comply.

Police announced an arrest on Monday in the hit-and-run death of a Delaware County man. 29-year-old Pacurie Huynh was arrested in connection with the death of 28-year-old Thomas Quercetti of Boothwyn. Police were able to identify Huynh as the suspect after they tracked down his vehicle through a piece of lens from a headlight that was found on scene.

Police are searching for two suspects who victimized an elderly man during a home invasion in North Philadelphia on Monday. Authorities say two men broke into a home along the 4700 block of Marvine Street in the Logan section of the city just after 10 a.m. and bound the homeowner, 74-year-old Etolia Fox, with duct tape in the upstairs hallway and then burglarized the home.
