Atlantic City Convenience Store Arrests, Christie Thanks Obama, Missing Body Confirmed As Majoras

Police in Atlantic City have announced a number of arrests after a lengthy investigation revealed several local convenience stores were selling male enhancement drugs marketed as "dietary supplements." Authorities also seized about 200 cartons of counterfeit cigarettes and more than $10,000.

Gov. Chris Christie is thanking President Obama for coming to New Jersey’s aid after Superstorm Sandy and remembering the 42,000 state residents still homeless since the Oct. 29 storm. Christie is the keynote speaker at the state Chamber of Commerce’s annual trip to the nation’s capital. Christie says Obama’s response was extraordinary. The governor recounted having a half-hour conversation alone with the president in the Oval Office three days before a $60 billion aid bill was sent to Congress.

Authorities have confirmed that the body pulled from the Delaware & Raritan Canal Wednesday afternoon has been identified as 39-year-old Sarah Majoras. She was last spotted on surveillance camera early Saturday morning on the New Hope-Lambertville bridge before vanishing. The official cause and manner of death from the medical examiner are pending toxicology results.
