U of Penn Denzel and Povich

Denzel Washington will speak at the University of Pennsylvania's 255th commencement ceremony May 16. The Oscar-winning actor's son Malcolm, is a sophomore at Penn.

And giving back: Maury Povich who graduated from Penn in 1962, and in the early 80s worked at Channel 3, spoke this week about the $1 million he donated to the University of Pennsylvania's Kelly Writers House to establish the Povich Fund for Journalism Programs.

He and his wife Connie Chung, have previously funded journalism efforts at Penn.
