Philadelphia police say one woman is dead and her son is in critical condition after a double shooting Sunday night in Northern Liberties. Police are investigating the incident that happened inside a private home on the 700 block of North 3rd Street. The woman in her 60's was reportedly shot in the chest. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The 40-year-old male victim was shot in the face and is being treated at Hahnemann University Hospital.
Police say they are looking for a male suspect. No arrests have been made.

Authorities say a New Jersey Transit bus driver apparently suffered a “medical episode” moments before the bus went off a southern New Jersey roadway and crashed into a nearby marsh. No serious injuries were reported in the accident, which occurred around 10:40 a.m. Sunday in Logan Township. Three of the seven passengers aboard were taken to the hospital as a precaution and were released later Sunday.

One man suffered a heart attack and later died and three people were behind bars for their alleged involvement in a Wedding reception brawl at the Sheraton in the Society Hill section of Philadelphia early Sunday morning. Police said at least two separate wedding parties got into a fight that began inside the hotel located at 1 Dock Street. One group of guests fought with another group who had just returned to the hotel after an off-site reception. It spilled out into the street and police were called in around 1:30 a.m.
