Maclin Rejoins Eagles, 30th Street Wreath Laying, Bride Stabs Husband On Wedding Day

The Eagles Training camp will have more workouts on Monday and Tuesday before breaking camp on Wednesday. One of the injured Eagles who returned to practice was wide receiver Jeremy Maclin.
The Eagles next preseason game will be next Monday against the Patriots, and the top unit is expected to get extended work.

A brief wreath laying ceremony was held at 30th Street Station on Sunday honoring some 1,300 Pennsylvania Railroad employees who served during World War II and made the supreme sacrifice. The ceremony was held at the World Two Memorial statue, Angel of the Resurrection. Following the ceremonial laying of wreathes made of red and white carnations, veterans in attendance shared memories and enjoyed a piece of cake and a refreshments.

A Lehigh County woman is in jail after police say she stabbed her soon-to-be husband on their wedding day. Na Cola Darcel Franklin has been charged with homicide in the stabbing death of her fiancé, Billy Rafeal Brewster, on their wedding day, Saturday. The cause of death was a stab wound and has been ruled a homicide. Franklin will not receive bail due to the nature of the offense charged.
