Philadelphia Police Officer Killed On I-95, Wilmington Soccer Shooting, Millville Officer Killed

A veteran Philadelphia highway patrol officer is dead, after his motorcycle was struck by a wrong-way driver on I-95 northbound early Sunday morning. Officer Brian Lorenzo was 48-years old and a 23-year veteran. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the striking car, John Leck Jr. of Levittown, was supposedly found to be driving under the influence.

Wilmington Police say five people were shot during a soccer tournament at Eden Park on New Castle Avenue in Wilmington, De. Sunday afternoon. Two people are in critical condition as a result of the incident. Police say it’s possible some of the people who were shot could possibly be suspects as well.The shooting remains under investigation.

A Millville patrolman was killed in the line of duty Sunday morning. Patrolman Christopher Reeves of the Millville Police Department was killed in a motor vehicle accident while on duty at 2:15 a.m. Sunday morning. The accident happened at the intersection of North 3rd and East Broad Street in Millville. Officer Reeves was an eight year veteran of the force.
