East Goshen Burglar Arrest, Miss PA USA 2012 Quits, Barking Bachelorette

Westtown-East Goshen police have arrested a man after he allegedly broke into a home in East Goshen Township. A resident reported that she had been in her bedroom when a black male entered her house before fleeing on foot.

Police searched the area and found an unsecured residence, where they discovered the suspect concealed under articles inside a basement closet.

During this weekend’s Miss USA Pageant, after she lost, Miss Pennsylvania USA 2012 quit. Accusations posted on her Facebook page contend the fix was in The post on her page calls the pageant fraudulent, lacking morals and in many ways trashy. The Miss Universe organization says that Monnin’s accusations the contest was rigged are false.

Bucks County’s Holiday House Pet Resort has teamed up with Lulu’s Rescue in Point Pleasant, Pa. and Animal Alliance in Lambertville, NJ to help lonely canines find love—and forever homes. The pet resort is now hosting a doggie version of “The Bachelorette.”

“The Barking Bachelorette,” stars four-legged Fiona, a two-year-old hound mix in need of a home, as the bachelorette. Over the course of the next few weeks, she’ll meet three pup suitors, and Facebook and Twitter followers can vote for their favorite.
