The jury in the Philadelphia clergy abuse case submitted another series of questions about the law as it applies to the charges against Monsignor William Lynn and Father James Brennan, who are on trial.

The jury sought clarification on the attempted rape charge against Brennan, and the jury had a number of questions related to the conspiracy and child endangerment charges against Lynn.

The issues in some respects are complicated and technical.

The judge hearing the Jerry Sandusky case has ruled that eight of the alleged victims will not be able to use aliases when they testify against the former Penn State assistant football coach.

Judge Cleland also banned texting by reporters or others from the courtroom, and resolved a dispute over research into potential jurors.

A home invasion and robbery that happened in Mayfair Monday afternoon is under investigation.

Authorities say a black man in his thirties knocked on the door of the home, asked for directions and then forced his way inside, threatening the homeowners.

The suspect took three rings from the 81-year-old woman’s hand and stole four rings and a gold watch from the 81-year-old man.

The suspect also stole $300 and two blank checks, according to police.
