It is the largest collective day of service in the country with over 145,000 volunteers participating in events and activities throughout the region. The Phillies have now announced they have agreed on a one-year renewal contract for shortstop Freddy Galvis this past Friday and avoided arbitration. The New Jersey State Medical Examiner has changed the manner of death of the former head of Cooper University Hospital from 'suicide' to 'undetermined.' 72-year-old John Sheridan and his wife, 69-year-old Joyce, were found dead inside their home after a fire in September 2014.
