Upper Darby Man Shot, Ocean City to Stay Dry, Red Light Camera Program

Police are searching for gunmen who shot a man outside his Upper Darby home early this morning. The man returned home just after midnight and was shot seven times while his girlfriend and four year old slept inside. The victim is in critical condition.

Ocean City is dry and will stay dry. A referendum to allow BYOB to restaurants in the Jersey Shore town was rejected by a 2 to 1 margin. Ocean City bills itself as America’s Greatest Family Resort, and alcohol prohibition is a big part of that reputation.

Philadelphia’s red light camera program may be in jeopardy. Set to expire June 30th, the Senate would like to expand the program to other cities, which does not seem likely at this time.

Sports
The Phillies try to shake off a couple tough losses tonight against the Mets.

Weather
Cloudy with showers this afternoon. High 74 in Philadelphia.
