New Duck Boat Video Released shows More Details

Attorneys for the two Hungarian students who were killed in the collision accident in July 2010 between a tugboat pushed barge and a stranded tourist Duck Boat, have released a new video of the event that they say contains disturbing details of what actually happened.

Attorney Robert Mongeluzzi explains that the video clearly shows the duck boat's captain jumping ship off the bow moments before the crash, while the rest of the 35 passengers were left still struggling to put on their life jackets. He states the boat's crew could have taken advantage of the 11:46 minutes before the crash while they were sitting there out of commission to warn them of a pending crash and to put on jackets, instead of the :45 second warning the crew actually gave the passengers.

Mongeluzzi states that they didn't have enough time to get on the jackets before the barge struck the boat and submerged it under its hull along with the passengers, including his clients who did not make it.

Mongeluzzi plans on using the video in the upcoming trial.

Here is the video: (it does show the crash)
