Temple Student Home Invasion, Allen Iverson Restraining Order, Sunoco Sold for $5.3 Billion

Philadelphia police have made an arrest after an armed robbery home invasion in North Philly last night. Intruders with guns entered a home shared by Temple University students and stole cell phones and cash at gunpoint.

Allen Iverson’s wife has filed a restraining order against the former 76ers point guard. Tawanna Iverson claims AI “has engaged in increasingly contemptuous, threatening and disturbing behavior.” Meanwhile, Allen Iverson is in China considering opportunities to play in the Chinese basketball league.

Sunoco announced this morning that it is being sold to Dallas based pipeline operator, Energy Transfer Partners for $5.3 billion. The buyer says it plans to keep the Sunoco headquarters in Philadelphia. The transaction is expected to close be the end of the year.

Tomorrow the Flyers and 76ers resume their respective playoff series.
