48 SEPTA workers are overnight millionaires. They hit the Powerball jackpot yesterday. They work in various departments at SEPTA headquarters and prefer to remain anonymous for now. Each will receive about $2 million from the payout.

The Occupy Philly protesters arrested after their eviction from City Hall property have been acquitted of all charges. Municipal Judge Karen Simmons says prosecutors didn’t meet legal thresholds to show disorderly conduct, conspiracy or obstructing a highway.

Mayor Michael Nutter announced the lineup for Philadelphia’s Welcome America 4th of July celebration. The headliner will be Philadelphia’ own The Roots. Also on the lineup, Darryl Hall, Queen Latifah and Joe Jonas. To hear the Roots music on the radio, tune into iRadioPhilly’s Rift
