A New Jersey mother who went missing with her young son last week, triggering a multi-state Amber Alert, has been found dead. 24-year-old Yasemin Uyar and 2-year-old son Sebastian Rios were allegedly abducted by the boy's father, Tyler Rios, from their Rahway, NJ, home on Thursday evening, 7/8. The disappearance was noticed when the boy did not show up for daycare on Friday and Uyar did not go to work. That is when the alert was issued. Sebastian was found safe on Saturday morning at a relative's home in Monterey, Tennessee. Rios was placed in custody. Initially, Uyar was still missing. Her body was found later on Saturday in a wooded area nearby. Charges are pending on Rios. He is awaiting extradition to New Jersey.

Three young men have been charged in the murder of man during a botched "ghost gun" deal in Lower Merion Township, Montgomery County on Saturday afternoon, 7/10. Around 3 p.m. on the 100 block of Ardmore Ave, 19-year-old Layth Evans of Philadelphia was found in the driver's seat of a Nissan by a woman walking her dog. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

19-year-old Micah Colbert of Ardmore and 21-year-old Elijah Smith of Philadelphia were both arrested and charged with murder, robbery, and other related offenses. 21-year-old Dorian Harris of Ardmore was also arrested and charged with illegally transferring a firearm.

Colbert and Smith met with Evans to purchase an untraceable "ghost gun." Something went wrong with the transaction and Evans was shot. Colbert had used his roommate Harris' gun to shoot Evans. Harris was not present at the deal. Harris went to Lower Merion Police with his gun in a bag and told authorities that his roommate had fired his weapon. Colbert and Smith will be remanded to the Montgomery County Correctional Facility. Harris awaits a bail hearing.

A 23-year-old man was killed after being shot 11 times in Manayunk early Sunday morning, 7/10. It happened just before 1 a.m. on the 100 block of Leverington Avenue near Main Street. Police say that a fight inside Heat Recording Studios came out on the street where the shots were fired. The victim was rushed to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead. No arrests have been made and no weapons were recovered. The investigation is ongoing.
