Philadelphia Police arrested a man who threw a Molotov cocktail through the front window of a daycare center in North Philadelphia on Tuesday morning, 3/16. It happened after 9 a.m. at Childrens Positive Palace Too on the 2700 block of Germantown Avenue near Lehigh Ave. A masked man tossed the incendiary device at the businesses, breaking the front window. A fire was started, but it remained outside the building. The man got into the passenger side of a white Toyota which fled the scene. Police caught the suspect about a mile away at 2nd Street and Allegheny Avenue. The driver of the vehicle was not there. The suspect's identity has not been released. There were no children in the daycare at the time and no one was injured.

A driver showed up early Tuesday morning, 3/16, around 2 a.m. at the 18th police district headquarters at 55th and Pine in Cobbs Creek with a car riddled with bullet holes. The man told police that he had been a victim of a road rage incident and that a person from another car had fired at him multiple times. The shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. at 55th and Master streets in West Philadelphia. Police found multiple shell casings at the scene. The man was not hurt. Police are looking at surveillance cameras in the area to identify the suspect. No word on what instigated the road rage incident.

President Joe Biden is beginning his "Help Is On The Way" tour to promote the coronavirus COVID-19 relief package in Chester, Delaware County, on Tuesday, 3/16. Biden visited Smith Flooring, a Black, woman-owned union-operated business. Congresswomen Chrissy Houlahan and Mary Gay Scanlon and owners Kristin Smith and James Smith joined the president. The purpose of the tour is to tout the benefits of the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan Act signed last week. First Lady Dr. Jill Biden visited Samuel Smith Elementary School in Burlington County, NJ, on Monday, 3/15. She was there showing how schools and daycare centers can reopen safely. Vice President Kamala Harris and Second Gentleman Douglas Emhoff will also be making stops across the country as part of the tour.

Former Philadelphia Eagles CB/S Jalen Mills aka Green Goblin has reportedly signed with the New England Patriots. The deal is for 4-years, $24 million with $9 million guaranteed. Mills was the Eagles' 7th round pick in 2016. This likely signals the end of his signature green hair. He was an unrestricted free agent. The Eagles could receive a compensatory pick in the 2022 draft.
