Pennsylvania State Police are looking for a man wanted for tying up his 80-year-old adopted mother and stealing her car and over $1,000 in cash from her Delaware County home last week. It happened around 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, 2/11, in Middletown Township. 45-year-old Christopher Dougherty broke into the residence armed with a hammer. He bound him mom to a chair with duct tape. Dougherty then stole $1,150 in cash, her cellphone, and the keys to her red 2002 Buick Century. The car has since been recovered. The suspect has ties to Aston, Chester, Havertown and Upper Darby, Pennsylvania, as well as Elkton and Rising Sun, Maryland. He is 5' 10" and weighs about 200 pounds. If you have any information, call Trooper Matthew Smith, PSP Troop K- Media CIU at 610-558-7080 or Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers at 1-800-4PA-TIPS.

The 5-year-old girl that was critically injured in a multiple car crash involving Britt Reid, former Kansas City Chiefs assistant and son of head coach Andy Reid, is now awake according to a GoFundMe page set up in her benefit. Her aunt Tiffany Verhulst, the fundraiser's organizer, simply wrote "Ariel is Awake." The accident occurred in Kansas City on Thursday, February 4, on a highway on-ramp. Reid struck two cars parked on the ramp, one of which was disabled. He admitted to having "two or three drinks" and taking prescription Adderall. He is now under investigation for driving under the influence.

The Manhattan District Attorney's Office has dropped charges against a white woman who had falsely called police on a Black birdwatcher in New York's Central Park last summer saying that he had threatened her and her dog. The DA's office dropped charged against Amy Cooper after she completed a restorative justice program which included five sessions. Chris Cooper filmed the incident with Amy Cooper who he had asked to put her dog on a leash. She called 911 and said she was being physically threatened by a Black man, which was not true as shown by the video.

Sports
The Philadelphia Phillies have invited CF Odubel Herrera to Spring Training mini-camp as a non-roster invitee. Herrera has not played since May 2019 after his involvement in a domestic assault incident in Atlantic City. The case was dropped after his girlfriend dropped the complaint, but Herrera was suspended by MLB for 85 games. Last year, the Phillies designated him for assignment, but he was not claimed off waivers. He was then assigned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs, but the minor leagues did not play in 2020 because of COVID-19. He has one year left on his contract and is owed $10 million. 29-year-old Herrara will have to compete for a roster spot.
