Car Crashed Through NE Philly Home; Teen Stabbed at SEPTA Station; Two Killed at Rooming House

A woman was critically injured after a car crashed into her home on Saturday night, 2/6, in Northeast Philadelphia. It happened around 8:20 p.m. on the 2800 block of Comly Road near Caroline Road near Northeast Philadelphia Airport. A 27-year-old drove through the front of the house and pinned the 53-year-old resident under the car. She was taken to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital in critical condition. The driver was arrested at the scene. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

UPDATE: The driver has been identified as an off duty Philadelphia Police officer. Gregory Campbell is charged with Aggravated Assault, DUI, and related offenses.

A teenager was stabbed on a Center City SEPTA platform on Friday night, 2/5. It happened just before 11:30 p.m. at 8th and Market Streets. The 17-year-old was stabbed once in the stomach during an altercation with another male. He was taken to the hospital in serious condition. The suspect fled on foot. Investigators are looking at surveillance video to identify the suspect.

A double shooting at a North Philadelphia rooming house has left two men dead. It happened around 10:40 a.m. Saturday along the 4500 block of North Old York Road in the Logan neighborhood. Police arrived to find a 33-year-old man in a second floor bathroom. He had been shot in the head and forearm. A 35-year-old man was found in a second floor bedroom with gunshots to the head and back. They were both declared dead at the scene. No arrests have been made.
