Missing Lehigh Ride Share Driver Found Dead; Body Found in Ridley Creek; Woman Dies in I-95 Crash

A ride share driver from Lehigh County that has been missing for several days has been found dead. 58-year-old Eleanor Camacho was discovered just after 4 p.m. Sunday, 12/7, inside her car near Lumber and Turner streets in Allentown. She was last seen in Thursday evening, 12/3, in the parking lot of her apartment building on the 1100 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard in Salisbury Township. Camacho was on her way to pick up a fare at the time. She drives part-time for Uber and Lyft. She had a 2015 silver Buick SUV. The case is under investigation.

UPDATE: An autopsy and preliminary investigation has found no apparent cause of death. The Lehigh County Coroner's Office is awaiting toxicology test results.

A body was discovered on Monday morning, 12/7, in Ridley Creek in Eddystone, Delaware County. Numerous search and rescue, fire, police, medical, and special agencies have been searching the area for a missing 18-year-old since Saturday night, 12/5. The discovery was made on the creek banks near the 1100 block of Eddystone Avenue. The 18-year-old was near the creek by near Sundrive & Hancock Streets with a friend on Saturday evening, when he supposedly have a seizure and fell in. Crews searched that night and all day Sunday. The official announcement has not yet been made, but officials and family have confirmed that body found belongs to the missing teen.

UPDATE: The victim has been identified as 20-year-old Rahdee Chappell of Chester by family members. See photo below.

A woman was killed after slamming into a parked tractor-trailer on I-95 in Delaware early Monday morning, 12/7. It happened around 3:15 a.m. in the northbound lanes near Churchmans Road in Newark. The tractor-trailer was parked on the right shoulder. The 34-year-old Newark woman, for some reason, drifted over to the shoulder and hit the back of the truck with her Ford Fusion. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver was not injured.
