Barges being used by the Army Corps of Engineers to dredge parts of the Schuylkill River broke loose during Tropical Storm Isaias on Tuesday afternoon, 8/4. The three barges, which include one with a crane, are currently wedged under the bridge for the Vine Street Expressway I-676. The Vine Street Expressway is currently closed between I-76 and Broad Street. City Officials, PennDOT, and the Army Corps of Engineers are working together figure out how to move the barge. A rescue tugboat will come up river to move the barges, but they will have to at least wait until the waters subside. Damage to the bridge will then be assessed. SEPTA Regional Rail was shut down for a while, but all lines are now back up and running with delays.

UPDATE: A PennDOT representative said that only minor structural issues were discovered, none that would compromise the structural integrity of the bridge. I-676 will be closed until at least Thursday afternoon.

The body of a 5-year-old girl who went missing from her home on Tuesday, 8/4, during Tropical Storm Isaias was found on Wednesday morning, 8/5. Eliza Talal, who is autistic and non-verbal, was last seen at her home on the 2000 block of Spring Valley Road in Lansdale. She was found next to the Towamencin Creek in nearby Fischer's Park. Police tried to ping an iPad that was believed to be with Talal. The device was found under a neighbor's porch. A creek runs behind the family's home. "We believe, based on the circumstances, that she left the house and somehow got into the water and then of course was pulled into the water," Towamencin Township Dickinson said.

The National Weather Service has confirmed 6 tornadoes in the Delaware Valley from Tropical Storm Isaias on Tuesday, August 4. Those hit Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Maryland. The EF ratings will take a few more days.

1. Montgomery County, PA, EF-0 80 mph - Worcester Township, on Heeber Road between Valley Forge Road and Hollow Road.
2. Bucks County, PA - started near the Philadelphia Mills mall in Northeast Philadelphia to Doylestown Hospital
3. Cape May County, NJ, EF-1 100mph - from Strathmere to Marmora
4. Ocean County, NJ - Ship Bottom, started as a waterspout and came ashore with 109 mph wind gusts.
