NJ Trooper Shot and Injured in Trailer Park; Double Shooting in Frankford; Body ID From Burning Car

A New Jersey State Police trooper was shot and injured in a trailer park in Salem County on Saturday night, 4/25. It happened just before 11 p.m. in the Harding Woods trailer park on the 100 block of Harding Highway in Pittsgrove Township. The trooper was hit in the leg. He was taken to Cooper University Hospital in Camden. He underwent surgery and is expected to be OK. Police have not said what led up to the shooting.

A man and a woman were injured in a double shooting in Frankford on Sunday, 4/16. It happened around noon on the 5100 block of Tulip Street. A 22-year-old man was shot multiple times in the torso. He was rushed to the hospital and is in critical condition. A 20-year-old woman was shot in her right shoulder and left cheek. She is currently in stable condition. Police did recover a weapon, but no arrests have been made.

Officials have identified the woman whose body was discovered inside a burning car in Cherry Hill almost two weeks ago. The victim has been identified as 39-year-old Diamond Robles of Camden. Robles' body was found after firefighters extinguished a car fire in the back of a car dealership on Rt. 70 on Thursday night, April 16. The investigation in to the cause of her death and the fire is ongoing.
