Delaware Governor Issues Stay-At-Home Order and Closure of Non-Essential Businesses, Full List

On Sunday afternoon, 3/22, Delaware Governor John Carney issued a stay-at-home order for all residents and said that all non-essential businesses must close due to the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak. The orders go into effect on Tuesday, 3/24, at 8 a.m. and last until May 15 or until the public heath threat passes.

The stay-at-home order permits residents to leave their homes only for essential activities. Those activities would include going to the grocery store or pharmacy, doctors visits, going to work at an essential business, buying supplies, exercise, or other activities essential for your health.
