Governor Tom Wolf announced on Monday, 3/16, that all Fine Wine and Good Spirits stores in the state of Pennsylvania will close at 9 p.m. Tuesday, March 17th. Stores in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties were already set to close by 9 p.m. Monday, 3/16. All state liquor stores and licensee service centers will remain closed until further notice. Also, online sales at www.FineWineAndGoodSpirits.com were halted at 5 p.m. Monday, 3/16. You can still purchase alcohol (wine and beer) at many grocery stores and supermarkets that have licenses to sell it. Many of those include Weis, ACME, Whole Foods, the Fresh Grocer, Wegman’s and GIANT. Grocery stores are deemed essential businesses and will remain open.

If you have a problem with drinking, there are many resources available to help. If you are a heavy drinker and decide to stop drinking abruptly, you may need to seek medical help as detox can become dangerous.
