A woman was killed and a man was injured in a double shooting at an apartment building in Maple Shade on Sunday afternoon, 2/23. It happened before 2:30 p.m. at The Arbors on South Lenola Road. The Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office says that police found 22-year-old Kayla Winkler and 24-year-old Ramek Bass outside an apartment on the seventh floor suffering from gunshot wounds. They were both rushed to Cooper University Medical Center. Winkler was pronounced dead at the hospital. Bass was treated for a gunshot to the shoulder and released. The shooting occurred at Winkler's apartment. Bass was an acquaintance of hers that was visiting. No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.

Authorities in Collingswood, Camden County, are looking for a man who broke into a home, attacked the residents, and then set the house on fire on Sunday, 2/23. It happened around 2:30 p.m. on the 200 block of Crestmont Terrace. The Camden County Prosecutor's Office says that the suspect attacked one person in the home and tied up another. He then demanded money. The man set the home on fire as he left. It is not clear if he made of with anything. He is described as a thin man with dark skin, a short beard, and dark hair. He was wearing a yellow winter hat and a yellow and black zip-up sweatshirt. The two victims were taken to Cooper Medical Center. No word on their conditions. If you have any information contact Camden County Prosecutor's Office Detective Mike Batista at 856-676-8175 or Collingswood Police Sgt. William Lyons at 609-868-0266.

Yeadon police have arrested two juveniles in connection to an online threat against Penn Wood High School and Middle School last Thursday evening, 2/20. The threat was made on Instagram that someone was going to "shoot up" the Lansdowne, Delaware County schools. The threat prompted a heavy police presence at both schools on Friday, 2/21. Students and book bags were searched upon entering the building. More information will be available at a 3:30 pm press conference.
