Upper Darby Missing Teen/Daughter; Deadly Broad Street Hit-and-Run; Deadly Accidents Sunday Morning

Police in Upper Darby, Delaware County, are searching for a missing teen mother and her infant daughter. Police say that say that 15-year-old Camiya Watson picked up her 4-month-old daughter Aaziyah Watson without permission on Saturday, 1/25. Watson has not returned to her custodial guardian. She is known to frequent the Kensington area. If you have any information, contact Upper Darby Police Department at 610-734-7693.

Philadelphia Police are investigating a deadly hit-and-run that happened early Saturday morning, 1/15, in North Philadelphia. It happened around 12:30 a.m. on the 5900 block of North Broad Street near Champlost Avenue in front of the 35th Police District. The 37-year-old man was crossing Broad Street when he was struck by a car and killed. Police heard the accident and came running out of the station. The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have recovered the vehicle. They are looking at surveillance video from the 35th district. No arrests have been made.

Multiple accidents overnight Sunday, 1/26, proved deadly on area roadways. One person is dead and one injured following an accident on Kelly Drive. It happened around 1:40 a.m. on the 2700 block of Kelly Drive just north of Hunting Park Avenue. A 2007 Audi lost control and struck a wall. Both people inside were taken to Temple University Hospital. The 37-year-old driver is in stable condition. The 34-year-old female passenger died from her injuries. At around 4 a.m., three cars were involved in another accident in the southbound lanes of the Blue Route I-476, just south of Exit 5 Broomall. One person was pronounced dead at the scene. Kobe Bryant, NBA legend, has died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, CA. Bryant won 5 NBA Championships with the Los Angeles Lakers and was an 18-time All-Star. He attended Lower Merion High School. His 13-year-old daughter Gianna was also on board and died. Bryant is survived by his wife Vanessa and three other daughters. He was 41.
Just last night against the Philadelphia 76ers, LeBron James passed him on the All Time scoring list. Kobe is now 4th with 33,643 points.
