A 23-year-old man fell to his death while jumping between rooftops in Philadelphia's Callowhill neighborhood early Saturday morning, 1/11. It happened just before 2 a.m. on the 1200 block of Buttonwood Street. The victim and two other men, who all happen to be students at Drexel University College of Medicine, were jumping between rooftops when the victim missed a jump and fell two stories to the ground. He hit his head on the ground. The two other men performed CPR until medics arrived. He was taken to Thomas Jefferson University Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The men had been drinking at an event earlier in the evening. Police say that foul play and narcotics use has been ruled out.

A man was shot and killed in North Philadelphia on Saturday afternoon, 1/11. It happened around 1:30 p.m. on the 3100 block of North Rosewood Street. The victim is believed to be in his late teens early 20s. He was shot twice in his chest and was taken to Temple University Hospital where he died. No arrests have been made.

The NFL has decided not to fine Seattle Seahawks defensive end Jadeveon Clowney for his helmet-to-helmet hit against Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz in last week's Wildcard playoff game. The hit came in the first quarter and took Wentz out of the game with concussion symptoms. Clowney was not flagged for the play during the game, but many thought it was still a 'dirty' play that should be fined. Clowney defended himself saying he didn't intentionally try to hurt Wentz.
