Philadelphia Police are searching for two suspects wanted for firebombing a home in West Oak Lane early Saturday morning, 12/21. It happened after 4 a.m. on the 7400 block of Rugby Street. The act was caught on surveillance video. The two men can been seen dousing the back of the home with what appears to be gasoline before throwing a Molotov cocktail. The woman who lives at the home was woken up by her fire alarm and was able to get herself and her 8-year-old son out of the home safely. She called 911 and firefighters put out the fire. She does not recognize the two men in the video and does not know why she was targeted. If you have any information, contact police at 215-686-8477.

A 16-year-old was shot multiple times and killed while standing on his porch in the Allegheny West neighborhood of North Philadelphia on Monday afternoon, 12/23. It happened before 2 p.m. on the 3100 block of North 24th Street. The teen was pronounced dead at the scene. No weapon was recovered and no arrests have been made. A short time later, a 19-year-old was shot in the arm on the 2100 block of Cecil B. Moore Avenue. He was taken to Temple University Hospital. No arrests have been made in that shooting.

Philadelphia Police have arrested and charged a Bucks County woman in connection to the hit-and-run death of an 82-year-old woman in Northeast Philadelphia earlier this month. 67-year-old Romualda Gulbiniene of Richboro has been charged with accidents involving death while not properly licensed, careless driving, and failure to yield to pedestrian. She was arrested on Friday, 12/20. A mugshot was released on Monday, 12/23. (see below). Bail is set at $100,000. The accident happened around 6 p.m. on December 12th. Yulia Sherman had just finished shopping at the NetCost Market in the Leo Mall. She was struck at the intersection of Hendrix Street and Bustleton Avenue while carting her groceries home. Police tied Gulbiniene's vehicle to the accident.
