Kennett Manager Embezzled $3 Million+; Overbrook Woman Shot In Face; Wentz Gender Reveal Video

The former township manager of Kennett Township, Chester County, has been arrested for embezzling over $3 million in township funds. 46-year-old Lisa Moore is charged with theft, forgery, computer crimes and other related charges. Officials say that she conducted various schemes over the past 6 years to defraud $3,249,453 from Kennett Township. She spent the money on vacations, luxury goods, and other extravagant purchases. Moore started working with the township in 1997 and became manager in 2010. As manager she was paid a decent $100,000+ salary, but she also had access to the township's financials. Some of the schemes included simply paying herself out of the general fund, forging checks, using the township credit card on personal purchases, lying about overtime, and even faking a marriage so a friend could get on health insurance. "This case is a reminder that a determined insider can always find a way to steal, using their knowledge of internal procedures and policies," Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan said. "Because of their inside information, these white collar criminals are more difficult to stop than burglars or armed robbers." Moore was released on $500,000 unsecured bond. She faces four to fives years in prison.

A woman remains hospitalized after being shot in the face early Tuesday morning, 12/10, in Overbrook. The victim's family identified her as 31-year-old Tiffany Gilliam. She was waiting to get a ride to work from her boyfriend around 5:30 a.m. near 67th Street and Lansdowne Avenue when she was approached by a man who fired at close range. She was holding up her cell phone which partially blocked the bullet. She was still hit, but not killed. The incident was caught on surveillance tape. The family believes the shooter could be Gilliam's ex and the father of her children. She remains in a medically induced coma at the hospital. Her mother says she will require reconstructive surgery. No arrests have been made.

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz posted a gender reveal video on his Instagram earlier on Tuesday, 12/10. Carson and his wife Madison got married in 2018. They announced they were expecting their first child over Thanksgiving. The video was captioned, "Gender Reveal: Wentz Family Style. Beyond blessed with this little one on the way! Can't wait to meet you this spring!" The video is set in a big rural field. Carson and some friends are standing with shotguns, while Madison has several footballs lined up. She tosses the first ball high into the field. The boys shoot the duck stand-in which lets out a puff of white powder, a dud. Eventually they get to the football that explodes into a big puff of blue or pink. Watch the video to find out:
