The bear that made its way south through Delaware County this week with sightings starting on Black Friday has now turned up in Delaware. Pennsylvania and Delaware game officials are working together to track the animal and trap it. Delaware Natural Resources Police says it is a younger animal about 200 lbs. The "Delabear" was seen by many people in the Trolley Square section of Wilmington on Thursday, 12/5. It was running in an out of backyards before it disappeared into the Alapocas State Park. Wildlife officials have set up a large bear trap and are using donuts and chocolate to hopefully lure the bear. If you see the animal, do not approach, call 911.

A grocery store owner was arrested and charged after raids on two of his stores in Northeast Philadelphia on Wednesday, 12/4. 48-year-old Andrey Malkin of Jamison is facing numerous charges including possession or transportation of liquor or alcohol, possession of alcohol, sales of liquor and other related offenses. The Pennsylvania State Police's Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement raided the NetCost Market on Bustleton Avenue and the NetCost Market on Welsh Road around 2:45 p.m. in the Somerton section. It began as an undercover operation. Authorities found several thousand boxes of chocolate candy containing liquor that were being sold. Malkin does not have a liquor license.

A 15-year-old girl was shot and injured in West Philadelphia on Thursday evening. It happened on the 5500 block of Vine Street. The girl was shot once in the left buttock. She was rushed to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center and is in stable condition. The two suspects are black men in their late teens to early 20s with beards. One was wearing a red hoodie and the other had an Army fatigue hoodie. No arrests have been made. This is the 108th minor shot this year in Philadelphia.
