Former Phillies Bobby Abreu, Cliff Lee, and Raul Ibanez make 1st time Hall of Fame Ballot

A number of Philadelphia Phillies appear on the 2020 Hall of Fame Ballot released on Monday, 11/18, including several players making the ballot for the first time. Bobby Abreu has the best chance out of the new comers to make it to the hall. Cliff Lee and Raul Ibanez are also on the ballot for the first time. They join Curt Shilling, Scott Rolen, and Billy Wagner who have been on the ballot a number of years. Players must receive votes on 75% of the ballots cast to enter Cooperstown. They must get at least 5% to stay on the ballot for next year. Players only get 10 years of eligibility.
