A Philadelphia man has been arrested and charged with the murder of a Fox Chase woman in her home last week. 30-year-old Arthur L. Caesar of Somerton is charged with murder, robbery, tampering with evidence, and other offenses. 35-year-old Jill Millman was discovered on Wednesday, 11/6, by her mother. She had been stabbed multiple times in a second-floor bathroom of her home on the 800 block of Bergen Street. Caesar is being held without bail.

An 11-year-old boy was shot and killed at home in West Philadelphia on Monday, 11/11, and his 19-year-old brother is in custody. It happened around noon on the 5700 block of Haddington Lane. Responding police took the boy to Lankenau Hospital where he died in surgery at 12:25 p.m. The brother went door-to-door seeking help and then fled the scene. He was picked up by police a few blocks away. "The person of interest right now is his 19-year-old brother who were apparently the only two home at the time. It's very early in the investigation, not knowing whether it was accidental or intentional," Acting Philadelphia Police Commissioner Christine Coulter said. A handgun was recovered.

UPDATE: 19-year-old Nikeem Leach has been charge with Involuntary Manslaughter, Violation of Uniform Firearm Act-No License, and Violation of Uniform Firearm Act-On the Street in the shooting death of his 11-year-old brother Ayyub Leach.

A car traveling at a high rate of speed hit the median, went airborne, and crashed in the second floor of a business in Toms River, New Jersey, early Sunday morning, 11/10, killing two men. 22-year-old Braden DeMartin and 23-year-old Daniel Foley were pronounced dead at the scene. The red Porche was driving on Hooper Avenue near the intersection of Indian Hill Road when it was launched in to the air and landed in the second story of the brick office building. No one was inside the building at the time. The office has been deemed unsafe by the building inspector. Authorities are still calculating how fast the car must have been going and if alcohol was a factor. Police and the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office are still investigating.

Philadelphia Eagles have signed offensive lineman Brandon Brooks to a 4-year, $54.2 million extension. The contract is good through 2024 with $30 million guaranteed. The right guard becomes the high paid guard in the league.
