There is a $10,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest of those responsible in the assault of a South Philadelphia man earlier this month that has left him in a coma. It happened on October 11 around 11:30 p.m. outside of Cookies Tavern, on the corner of Alder Street and Oregon Avenue. 48-year-old Frank Tarantella was found lying on the side walk. Firefighters transported him to Jefferson University Hospital where he remains in a coma. He has suffered brain trauma. Anyone with information or surveillance video is encouraged to contact the Crime Commission Tipline at 215-546-TIPS.

A Lehigh Valley woman has been arrested after she left her 1-month-old baby on a bus in Bethlehem over the weekend. 26-year-old Ashley Walters of Whitehall has been charged with child endangerment. On Saturday, 10/26, Walters boarded the bus near Guetter and Broad Streets and put the baby boy on the fare box telling the driver “this was her son that she can’t take care of” and to call police. She then walked away in tears. Pennsylvania's Safe Haven laws permit a child no older than 28 days to be left at a hospital or police station. Walters is being held in jail after failing to post bail.

A Camden County man has been arrested on child luring charges. 41-year-old Mark Seidman is charged with second degree luring, attempted criminal sexual contact, attempted sexual assault with a minor and attempted endangering the welfare of a child. Seidman believed he was communicating online with a 14-year-old boy, but in fact he was exchanging messages with an undercover Homeland Security Special Agent posing as a boy. Seidman and the 'boy' arranged to meet in person in Pennsauken. When Seidman arrived at the location, he was taken into custody by authorities. He is being held at Camden County Correctional Facility awaiting a pretrial detention hearing.
