A man that had threatened the Philadelphia Water Department, which was his previous employer, and the police has been found dead of an apparent self-inflicted gun shot wound. 31-year-old Michael Altomari was discovered inside his truck shortly before 7 p.m. on Saturday, 10/19, in Northeast Philadelphia. Police had been looking for him all day. It started around 1 a.m. when police received a phone call from his girlfriend. "She stated that they had an argument and she was concerned for his well being. He made some threats against his former employer, which would be the Philadelphia Water Department, and said that if the cops tried to interfere, they would have consequences and that he would have a shootout with the police," said Lt. Dennis Rosenbaum with the Philadelphia Police Department. She said that he loaded a duffle bag with guns and left the house. He last worked for the water department in 2017.

An 11-month-old baby is in extremely critical condition after being shot multiple times on Saturday night, 10/19, in the Hunting Park neighborhood. It happened around 8 p.m. on the 700 block of West Luzurne Street. The baby's stepmother was driving through the area and heard gunshots. She kept driving until she got home. That is when she saw that her car had been struck and her baby had been shot. The child was hit once in the head, once in the chest, and twice in the buttocks. They were taken to Einstein Medical Center and then transferred to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. If you have any information about the shooting contact police at 215-686-TIPS.

New dramatic video has been released from an incident last May in Oregon that shows a high school football coach disarm a student and then hug him until police arrive. Keanon Lowe is former Philadelphia Eagles assistant coach under Chip Kelly. The video shows him toss the shotgun's clip into the hallway. You then see him slowly walking the student out into the hallway, one hand on his shoulder and the other holding the shotgun he took away. Students were able to leave the classroom from another door. Keanon hands off the shotgun and then embraces the student who is visibly upset. The student pled guilty to gun charges and received three years probation. He will also receive mental health treatment.
