Three people were killed and one other seriously injured in a head on collision in Plymouth Township, Montgomery County, on Thursday night, 9/12. It happened around 11:50 p.m. at the intersection of Ridge Pike, Chemical Road, North Lane, and Colwell Road. A Honda Pilot SUV was speeding while going west on Ridge Pike when it failed to make a turn onto Chemical Road. The SUV then crossed the median and hit a Dodge Grand Caravan in the eastbound lanes head-on. The driver of the Dodge was trapped in the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. Their name has not been released. Friends and family identified the driver of the Honda 39-year-old Wilfredo Martinez Jr. and the passengers as 29-year-old Justin Ruberti and 37-year-old Luis Serrano Jr., all from Vineland, NJ. Martinez and Ruberti died and the scene. Serrano was taken to Temple University Hospital in critical condition. Police say speed was likely a factor in the crash.

UPDATE: Those killed have been identified as Wilfredo Martinez Jr., 38, of Vineland, New Jersey, Justin Ruberti, 30, of Vineland, and Alexander Montanez, 58, of Philadelphia.

The injured person has been identified as Luis Serrano Jr., 37, of Vineland.

Two men were killed in a double shooting in Wilmington on Friday morning, 9/13. It happened just after 10:30 a.m. near 5th and North Monroe Streets. Police arrived to find a 24-year-old man and a 26-year-old man on the street suffering from gunshot wounds. They were taken to the hospital where they died from their injuries. No arrests have been made. If anyone has information they are asked to call the Wilmington Police Department at 302-576-3962.
