A suspect has been arrested in the shooting death of famed Bucks County guitarist and songwriter Danny DeGennaro .

Bristol Township Police Chief James McAndrew and Bucks County District Attornrey David Heckler announced that a woman, Danasia Bakr, had been arrested and was scheduled to be arraigned at 2 p.m. Tuesday by District Justice Robert Wagner Jr.

Bakr, 17, of Morrisville, PA, was charged with criminal conspiracy, criminal conspiracy to commit murder, criminal homicide, burglary, robbery and possession of an instrument of crime.

Bakr along with other co-conspirators went to DeGennaro’s house the night of his murder to rob him. They were armed with a shotgun and handgun. Here are the court documents.

Bakr is being held without bail at the Bucks County Prison. She will be tried as an adult.

DeGennaro, 56, was shot once in the chest with a shotgun in his Crabtree Drive home on Dec. 28. He was found unresponsive by a tenant who was living in the basement.
