West Norriton Township police are searching for two suspects wanted for allegedly abducting an elderly woman from a department store and robbing her at gunpoint in Montgomery County earlier this month. It happened on July 11 around 1 p.m. at a Marshall's store located at 540 S. Trooper Road. The two middle aged women approached the 76-year-old female victim and flashed a gun, telling her not the scream or they'd kill her family. They sat in the victim's car and discussed withdrawing thousands of dollars from the victim's bank. They knew details about where she lived, what her husband was doing, and other members of her family. She was then forced to drive to the Wells Fargo Bank on Egypt Road in Lower Providence with a gun pressed into her ribs. They had her take out $1,500. They then drove to a Home Depot in West Norriton Township where they robbed her of her money, jewelry, and cash. Anyone with any information about the suspects is being asked to contact police at 610-630-1701.

The Townsend Inlet Bridge reopened on Thursday, 7/25, after being closed for over 10 months for repairs. The bridge connects Avalon to the south with Sea Isle City to the north. Without the bridge, drivers had to head to the mainland and back to travel between the two popular shore towns. That trip could add an extra 30 mins and 15-20 miles if the traffic is light. With the bridge now open, visitors, residents, and businesses will be certainly be happy. Kids are happy too, now they can ride their bikes between towns to see their friends again. The toll will be free through this weekend.

A woman is dead and her brother is under arrest after a shooting in Strawberry Mansion on Thursday night, 7/25. It happened around 8:30 p.m. on the 2600 block of North 33rd Street. A woman in her 50s was shot 4 times - 2x in the chest, 2x in the stomach - while inside her home. She was taken to Temple University Hospital where she was pronounced dead. Her brother has been arrested for the murder. No word yet on what led up to the shooting.
