Missing Child Juan Benacio NE Philly; Man Dies Stopping Carjacker; Stabbing at Kid's Graduation

Philadelphia Police are asking the public's help in finding a missing boy. 4-year-old Juan Benacio of Northeast Philadelphia was last seen around 2 p.m. Friday, 6/14, by his father at his home on the 6700 block of Castor Avenue. He is 4 feet tall and weighs 60 pounds. He was wearing a blue shirt and brown pants. Juan and his father recently emigrated here from Guatemala. UPDATE: Juan Benacio has been found SAFE. He is 8-years-old.

A 29-year-old man died after being dragged down the street while trying to stop a man from stealing his car on Friday night, 8/14. It happened at 8:30 p.m. on Girard Avenue near Broad Street. The carjacker stole the victim's 2006 Black Acura and the victim tried to stop him, but ended up being dragged down the block. The suspect lost control and crashed into the Cricket Wireless store at 1340 W. Girard Avenue and fled on foot. The victim was taken to Hahnemann Hospital and pronounced dead shortly after. The suspect is described as a black male, 20s, and 5'7" tall. He was wearing a black shirt and blue pants.

Violence broke out at a graduation for preschool kids ages 4-5 in Delaware County on Friday night, 6/14. It happened around 7 p.m. on the 600 block of MacDade Boulevard in Collingdale. The father and step-father of one of the children got into an argument. One of the men then stabbed the other. The victim was rushed to the hospital. His condition is unknown. The suspect is still at large.
